There’s a fundraising even for Kelly Arklay who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer for the 3rd time. Kelly was originally diagnosed in November 2014 twice, and underwent 5 surgeries over a 10 month period.
With this being Kelly’s 3rd time diagnosed with breast cancer she is currently under going Chemotherapy and will follow with Surgery and Radiation.
Kelly has had to take leave without pay from her current employment while she undertakes her treatment, which could take up to 12 months to complete. As a single mum with a 12 year old daughter starting high school next year, we want to be able to help support Kelly and raise money to go towards rent, bills and everyday costs of raising a child over the next 12 months, while Kelly can’t work as is under going this intensive treatment.
Most of us couldn’t imagine going through this once let alone 3 times, so this fundraiser is a great opportunity to help easy some of the financial stress for Kelly, and let her focus on her treatment and recovery.
